The Beck brewery is a company based in Bremen and, in addition to its domestic presence, is clearly focused on exports. The owner of the brewery is Anheuser-Busch InBev, based in Leuven (Belgium). It produces various beer products under the Beck's brand, not only in Bremen, as well as the regional brand Haake-Beck, which is well-known not only in northern Germany, and the naturally cloudy Kräusen beer Haake-Kräusen.

The company employed around 1500 people at the beginning of the 2010s. On October 17, 2013, the company's management announced massive job cuts. Of the approximately 1400 employees in Bremen, 151 jobs were to be cut, according to Beck's parent company AB Inbev.
